My Opinion on In A Good Way Episode 17

That was an hour well spent sitting in front of a computer screen. In A Good Way has become something that I look forward to every week and it makes me very happy to know that I get to come home to some beautiful happiness at the end of a stressful schooling week. There was so much teasing this ep but it managed to give all that we wanted and so much more while still remaining innocently cute to the eye. There wasn’t anything that was crossing the boundaries and offered lots of steam from the lovebirds, something that my eyes really enjoyed seeing. The most they shared was a kiss on the forehead and cheek but that kisses alone were nothing short but sizzling hot, so hot that you will burn yourself going near it! It is their abilities to share and treasure these little moments in their steps up their relationship that makes their these little actions offer so much more depth to their relationship that what throwing themselves to make out can do. I love the way that even though they have a different relationship status now, they don’t veer away from the personalities that have shaped them to be who they are.

Their date to Jiufen was full of fluff and cuteness and definitely not short of intimacy. Their relationship might have changed to become more intimate but they are still in every way themselves. Even with all the thoughts about bases and such, it doesn’t cross their mind that they will step it up to the next base. They have a huge respect for each other as well for themselves so going against their own principles is a huge no-no for them. There were moments when their self-control was about to blow off but being who they are, they are able to control it knowing that it is not the right time for it to blow off now. One of my favourite gestures from this ep was when the lovebirds were falling asleep, Liu Chuan assured Jia En that he was not going to do anything that was going to make her feel uncomfortable. That just said so much of who he is as a person. There relationship is one that is as pure as it gets and I love watching how it all comes about. You can put them together in the same room with suggestions from angels and devils alike but a peck on the forehead and hand holding is the most that you will get, which is totally fine by me. Really, who can resist their small share of intimacy when it brings across a huge rainbow for happiness?

Liu Chuan and Jia En are just a match made in heaven. They complement each other so well in all aspects, whether that be of interest, views or personalities. They just fit perfectly with each other which is why regardless of how much effort that Ren Wei puts into pursuing Jia En, he will just be pale in comparison to the perfection that Liu Chuan and Jia En make. There is no denying that Ren Wei has known Jia En for a long time and has seen various sides to her but his understanding of her only goes so far while Liu Chuan understands for depths and depths of ocean. These two lovebirds share a very special connection between them that makes them them, a couple who cannot be any more complementary as they are. Furthermore, they are equals in every way. Liu Chuan does not see Jia En to be any less than himself just as Jia En does not see herself subordinate to him. They stand on equal grounds and that’s something essential to the way their relationship develops.

Oh Ren Wei, am I annoyed with him? The answer is a quick no but I guess you could say that I am a bit let down by his decision to take up a similar position to what Bai Xue previously had. I enjoy the process of watching him fall for Jia En I am disappoint in him to neglecting to low means to try and change Jia En’s heart. She is out of his reach. He should either confess and then move on or move on knowing that that Jia En is just not meant for him, and so far he is taking no approach to either of these. Instead, he is resulting to intruding of the lovebirds’ date (not that it succeeded) and other means to try to fish Jia En’s heart away from Liu Chuan. It’s frustrating watching the way he is handling this feeling while not really knowing where he wants to head in life. He needs to be brave like Bai Xue, confess and face whatever comes after it will confidence and determination to keep stepping forward. I really hope that he will realise this soon, because I would hate it for him to become a character that I dislike. I really hope that Bai Xue will be able to lead him to see that Jia En is not the one for him because I want do not want him to be one to ruin his best friend’s happiness.

I’m glad to see some more development between Xiao Wei and Ri Qi but it is one step forward, two steps back. They are an adorable couple who just needs to work out their feelings for each other in their own way. Only then will they truly understand one another. Watching Ri Qi approach his feelings for her, I just want to tell him to be direct and tell her face to face but then I realised that this is not how their relationship is supposed to proceed. They need find their way to understanding each other so these little understandings between them is a very good way for them to do so.

Every ep of IAGW makes me excited for the next and I am definitely all pumped up for this week’s dose. Friday, please hope around soon!

But wait, isn’t Jia En is just reminiscing the past? Does that mean they actually separated after Liu Chuan graduated?, I mean not really separate but went somewhere just like what he promised to his father! So excited to see Jia En’s new look.

That early synopsis where JE is reminscing is what I’m dreading. It may really mean that they’ve separated. But still hopeful of a happy ending. This show has been doing an awesome job so far so i’m just going to enjoy the rest of the ride 🙂

Enjoyed reading your opinion! Isn’t it just great that we’re already in the 18th episode and yet the excitement and anticipation hasn’t faded?! The OTP continuously burn my comp screen everytime they’re together…lol. I really enjoyed this episode. I laughed so hard at the funny antics and squeal nonstop on the sweet skinship of our couple. I can really feel the love between the two. Can’t really stop myself from shipping them in real life…hehe

love your insights and your description how LC-JE are perfect for each other! hopefully JE is remininscing the old times how she met her present husband LC lol…she didn’t necessarily said she has broken up with LC in the beginning…so it’s still out of the open whether LC-JE are together or not in the present day…all i want is a happy ending for LC-JE together..it will be too heartbreaking if they didn’t end up together or waited for years to reconcile and got back together (and if they only show 10 mins of this)…
so please writers since we started with good vibes let’s end it with good vibes! this drama is so far my fave drama and it will be top 1 if it ended happily with butterflies and unicorns lol

I love that you enjoy reading it! Hopefully! Who knows, it says it’s a 2005 recall but maybe they will flash into 2014?

This drama is already butterflies and unicorns as it is!

I just caught this one and I’ma say….EEEEEEEE!!! It was absolutely hysterical!! That entire honeymoon suite business was pure gold. When did this show become straight-up comedy? I cackled so hard and I just about died when the devils Ri Qi and Ah Qing popped up–I figured that’s coz Liu Chuan is the angel of the bunch :D. And it all resolves in typically sweet fashion that’s totally THEM. Guh, this show gets all of this chastity and innocence just right!

I agree though that Ren Wei needs another talking to frm Bai Xue. His foolishness is entertaining though, and because he’s grown to be somewhat endearing, his buffoonery isn’t off putting to me. For now. But if he keeps this up…. hmmpph.
